Downstream Marketing Manager

About The Position

Theator is a team dedicated to the alleviation of variability and disparity in the world of surgery. We do so by leveraging cutting edge deep tech to understand what surgical best practices look like in the real world. Computer vision allows us to structure unstructured surgical footage. A variety of other AI tools help us understand context, then identify best practices to guide humans and robots and provide billions around the world with access to safe and affordable surgical care. 

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team and own all downstream marketing activities to drive Theator’s value proposition in all external marketing collateral and communications. 

This role reports into the Head of Marketing with close collaboration with Theator Sales and Customer Success. 

You’ll be responsible for

  • Content: ideate and create new pieces of collateral, update existing pieces with new messaging, as needed
  • Messaging: drive value proposition messaging and brand differentiation
  • Website: manage website updates including SEO/SEM
  • Leads: generate new leads through owned, earned, and paid media channels
  • Account based marketing: work with Sales to prioritize accounts and drive marketing efforts in specified accounts 
  • Email marketing: create and send quarterly newsletter; develop and execute email marketing campaigns
  • Sales: work with sales and support their day-to-day marketing needs
  • Go to market: develop go-to-market plans for new product features including segmentation, targeting, and positioning planning


Requirements

Your background should include

  • BA/BS in business, marketing, or equivalent working experience
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare B2B marketing, SaaS experience a plus 
  • Self-motivated with excellent cross-cultural communication skills, as well as excellent writing and copy-editing ability
  • Driven by creative intuition but able to gut check and course-correct with data, as well as report results and optimize using data
